1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the CORTEX-Persist API ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

CORTEX-Persist provides local sovereign memory infrastructure for AI agents, including fact persistence, vector search, and cryptographic auditing. The Service is offered via monthly subscription.

3. Acceptable Use

Do not make more requests than permitted by your plan.
Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits or security controls.
Do not use the Service for illegal activities or activities that violate third-party rights.
Do not share your API key with unauthorized third parties.

4. Plans & Payments

The Service is offered under four tiers: Self-Hosted (Free forever, BYOC, C4/C5-REAL), Pro ($49/month for independent hackers), LEGION ($299/month for startups and teams), and SOVEREIGN (Enterprise, customized for SOC 2 / C5 compliance). Pricing may change with a 30-day notice. No refunds are provided except as required by applicable law.

5. Intellectual Property

All code, documentation, and architecture of CORTEX-Persist are property of Borja Fernández Angulo. The data you input into the Service remains your property.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is". In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Maximum aggregate liability will not exceed the amount paid in the last 3 months.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Bilbao, Spain.
